Your initial physiotherapy appointment is up to one hour long and includes both a comprehensive assessment and treatment, where appropriate. During the session, our experienced Chartered Physiotherapist will take the time to understand your current difficulties, relevant medical history, general health, and the goals you would like to achieve. You may be asked to perform certain movements or exercises, so we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing. Following the assessment, you and your physiotherapist will agree on clear, realistic goals and a personalised treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. Treatment may include exercise prescription, mobility practice, balance training, functional rehabilitation, and practical advice to support your recovery and independence at home. The appointment also includes time for your physiotherapist to complete your clinical notes. Please note that the exact length of the session will depend on your individual needs and how much assessment and treatment is clinically appropriate on the day. Our fees are based on your postcode area to reflect travel time and distance, and the exact price for your appointment will be confirmed at the time of booking.
